3. Nature of the Service (IMPORTANT)

3.1 Peak Academy Snowsports is not a ski school.

3.2 We act solely as an intermediary platform that connects clients with
independent ski instructors.

3.3 All instructors listed on the platform are:

  • Self-employed professionals
  • Independently certified
  • Fully responsible for their own insurance, qualifications, and legal
    compliance

3.4 Any contract for ski instruction is directly between the client and the instructor,
not with Peak Academy Snowsports.

3.5 We do not employ instructors and we do not provide ski instruction services
ourselves.

4. Booking and Payments

4.1 All lessons must be booked and paid in advance through the website.

4.2 A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received.

4.3 Peak Academy Snowsports may collect payment on behalf of instructors and
transfer it to them.

4.4 Prices displayed on the website are subject to change without notice.

4.5 Failure to attend a booked lesson does not entitle the client to a refund unless
stated otherwise in the cancellation policy.

5. User Responsibilities

By using this website, you agree that:

  • You provide accurate and complete information when booking
  • You ensure you are physically able to participate in ski activities
  • You follow all safety instructions given by the instructor
  • You have appropriate insurance (including winter sports coverage)

6. Instructor Responsibility & Liability

6.1 The instructor is solely responsible for:

  • The delivery of the lesson
  • Safety decisions
  • Choice of terrain and conditions
  • Use of equipment

6.2 Peak Academy Snowsports shall not be held liable for:

  • Accidents or injuries during lessons
  • Loss or damage of personal equipment
  • Decisions made by the instructor

6.3 All liability rests with the instructor providing the service.

7. Risk Acknowledgment

7.1 Skiing and mountain activities involve inherent risks including, but not limited to:

  • Falls and collisions
  • Avalanche risk (especially during freeride lessons)
  • Weather and terrain hazards

7.2 By booking a lesson, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

8. Freeride Lessons Specific Terms

8.1 Participation in freeride lessons requires:

  • Suitable equipment
  • Avalanche safety gear (DVA/transceiver, shovel, probe)

8.2 Basic avalanche awareness training may be included but does not eliminate
risk.

8.3 The instructor has full authority to cancel or modify the lesson based on safety
conditions.
